About Longlands Care Home
Longlands Care Home accommodates up to 43 adults, including those living with dementia, though 26 residents were present at the time of this review. The detached building spans two floors, each with adapted facilities to meet residents' needs.
The home had implemented robust infection control measures to protect people, staff, and visitors. Systems were in place to manage and prevent the spread of infections, with the home supporting social distancing practices. Staff had received training in proper PPE use, hand hygiene, and Covid-19 related procedures, and additional cleaning was being carried out throughout the service.
