Loganberry Lodge

Loganberry Lodge is a large residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 143 people, including older people, younger adults, and those living with dementia, sensory impairment or physical disabilities. The CQC rated the service good overall, an improvement from its previous requires improvement rating. Inspectors found people received safe, kind care from a staff team who understood their needs, with sufficient staff, safe medicines management and a clean, welcoming environment.

The CQC found staff were well supported, trained and positive about their roles, with strong teamwork and leadership. People and relatives praised the caring atmosphere and felt listened to, and mealtime experiences had improved. Inspectors noted that resources for people living with dementia still needed some improvement.
