Lister Avenue

Lister Avenue is a care home providing personal care to people with mental health conditions, supporting up to 25 people. The CQC rated the service good overall, finding people were kept safe, well supported and treated with kindness. Staff were skilled and knowledgeable, care was person-centred, and people were helped to pursue activities and hobbies that mattered to them.

Inspectors did note some issues with medicines management following a change of provider, being addressed by the registered manager, and some environmental concerns, with redecoration and new kitchens and flooring planned. Leadership was found to be open and effective, with a good learning culture and clear routes for people to raise concerns.
