Lavender Lodge Care Home

Lavender Lodge is a three-floor nursing home with a dedicated dementia unit on the middle floor. At the time of inspection, it was providing nursing and personal care to 45 people, with capacity for up to 66. Residents and relatives expressed satisfaction with the care provided, with one resident noting "All care done" and another praising the manager, saying "I can go to her any time."

The home maintains sufficient staffing levels to keep people safe and meet their needs, with infection control processes in place. The new manager has implemented changes to embed the provider's values and improve outcomes for residents. Staff and residents are encouraged to share feedback, which is actively listened to, and the provider has established quality assessment processes to identify areas for ongoing improvement.
