Lauren Court Residential Care Home

Lauren Court provides accommodation and personal care to up to 48 people, with 36 residents living there at the time of inspection. Systems to monitor the environment and quality of care were not always effective and failed to identify concerns found during the inspection. Care plans and risk assessments were not consistently followed, with no evidence that people were receiving oral care. Gaps in recording meant inspectors could not always verify that residents were receiving care in line with their assessed needs. Staff deployment was inappropriate at times, with people being left unattended.
