Laurel Court (Didsbury)

Laurel Court is a purpose-built care home providing residential and nursing care to older people and those living with dementia across four floors organized into separate households. At the time of inspection, the home was supporting 53 residents and undergoing renovation work on two households.

The home had appointed a dedicated facilitator to manage all testing for staff, residents and visitors, as well as coordinate visits to ensure proper procedures and PPE guidance were followed. Essential caregivers were encouraged to visit and assist people in settling in when they first arrived at the home.
