Larchwood Care Home

Larchwood care home provides personal care and support for up to 64 people, some living with dementia, and was supporting 62 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding a consistent staff team who knew people well, individualised care plans, safe medicines management and a clean, well maintained environment.

Inspectors found the registered manager approachable and visible, with regular audits and daily meetings supporting oversight. People felt safe and well cared for, mealtimes were sociable, activities were varied, and relatives spoke positively about staff availability and communication.
