The service demonstrated strong infection control practices during admissions, with each person completing a 14-day isolation period as part of a carefully planned entry process. Staff had designated preparation areas with personal protective equipment donning and doffing spaces positioned throughout corridors, supported by clear guidance and signage.

Staff were observed maintaining social distance and adhering to protective measures consistently.

The service offered garden visits with robust infection control procedures in place, scheduling appointments at allocated times to prevent transmission between visitors. The registered manager was developing plans to designate a room within the building to facilitate indoor visits in future, reducing dependence on weather conditions. The manager had successfully implemented tailored procedures and guidance across the service.
