Kingsthorpe View Care Home

Kingsthorpe View is a care home providing personal and nursing care for up to 50 people, including those living with mental health diagnoses, dementia, physical disability, or sensory impairment. At the time of inspection, it accommodated 34 people in one adapted building across two floors.

The service presented significant safeguarding concerns. People living there were not safe and faced risks from multiple sources including poor environmental conditions, inadequate infection control processes, ineffective medicines management, and insufficient review of incidents. The provider lacked effective quality assurance systems to identify and address these problems, creating a concerning gap between what the service should provide and what residents actually received.
