Braywood Gardens

Braywood Gardens is a purpose-built residential care home providing accommodation and personal care to up to 99 people across seven units over two floors. The service supports older people and those living with physical disabilities and dementia, with 80 people using the service at the time of inspection.

Inspectors identified significant safety concerns. Potentially harmful products were not always stored securely, and unsecured windows increased risks of falls from heights as risk assessments had not been completed. Care plans were not consistently updated following incidents and accidents when equipment to promote care needed to be documented.
