Kingsbury Court

Kingsbury Court provides nursing and residential care to older people with physical support needs, some living with dementia, accommodating up to 60 residents. At inspection, 52 people were using the service. Staffing levels and deployment were insufficient to ensure safe support, particularly around mobilisation, anxiety management and daily care needs, creating risks including falls, health deterioration and social isolation. A new manager had implemented positive changes to care oversight, quality monitoring and staff support, though some previous actions still needed addressing.

People were supported with maximum choice and control, with staff adopting least restrictive practices in their best interests. Residents and relatives reported feeling safe and described staff as kind and caring. People requiring medicine support received this safely.
