Khiron Clinics

Khiron Clinics supports up to 10 adults over 18 who require personal care and accommodation. At inspection, three people were using the service. The home has recently reduced its use of agency staff, though this remains a consideration. All agency staff receive full induction and are familiarised with the service before starting. Staff recruitment follows safe procedures, and the home has improved its processes for checking temperatures to ensure safe medicine storage. Staff safely administer and record medicines, and all team members have training to recognise and report abuse.

People using the service report feeling safe. The provider completes comprehensive risk assessments for each person before and upon arrival, reviewing these regularly and after any incidents. Staff understand how to identify adults at risk of or experiencing significant harm and know how to escalate concerns appropriately.
