OSJCT Stirlings

Stirlings provides residential personal care to 35 people, with capacity for up to 40. The home offers excellent opportunities and access to varied activities designed to prevent social isolation and enable residents to live fulfilling lives. A full-time, dedicated activities coordinator who recently won a coordinator of the year award oversees the programme, supported by trained volunteers. Staff have made particular efforts to understand residents' past interests and experiences, then arranged activities that reflect these preferences. The service actively encourages and supports residents to maintain relationships with people who matter to them. Stirlings plays a key role in the local community, with several schools maintaining links where pupils and residents visit each other's establishments. Residents report enjoying these community connections and the sustained contact with wider support networks.
