Kerwin Court

Kerwin Court provides personal and rehabilitation care for up to 23 people, serving those recovering from acquired brain injury, those requiring substance misuse treatment, and those with chronic health conditions. The service operates from a purpose-built two-storey building. Staff supported meaningful activities including access to outdoor spaces, with well-used gardens and a designated visit room with external access. The layout allowed for appropriate isolation when needed, and people shielding were supported to continue their rehabilitation. Communication with visitors was clearly managed through appointments, and people were supported to maintain contact with friends and family through video calls. These arrangements balanced social distancing with meeting individual needs.
