Jubilee Court

Jubilee Court provides accommodation and personal care to up to 29 people, currently supporting 22 residents with various needs including those living with dementia and mental or physical health conditions. Inspectors found that while staffing levels were adequate for care needs, there were insufficient activities available, with residents often bored and sitting in communal areas with nothing to occupy them. Staff did not always have enough time to engage people in activities, though a new activities coordinator was due to start shortly.

Care plans were person-centred and residents and relatives confirmed they were involved in planning and reviews. Staff documented and provided communication support for those who needed it. A complaints procedure was accessible to residents and relatives, who expressed confidence that issues were addressed promptly. The service also supported some people receiving palliative care.
