James Burns House

James Burns House provides personal care for up to 21 people, with specialist support for those with physical disabilities, some of whom also have a learning disability or additional needs. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding safe, effective systems in place, with proper recruitment checks and enough skilled staff. Medicines monitoring was strengthened during the inspection.

Inspectors found staff to be kind, caring and respectful, treating people as individuals. People and relatives said they felt safe and happy, with good access to activities, health professionals and clear communication with management. Governance and leadership gave inspectors confidence in the registered manager and wider team.
