Hutton Avenue

Hutton Avenue provides personal and nursing care for up to nine autistic people and those living with a learning disability. The service has made improvements to fire safety arrangements, with evacuation equipment readily available and staff confident in its use. There are sufficient staffing levels to meet residents' needs, and medicines are managed effectively. Staff follow infection prevention and control guidelines, and the premises are well maintained, clean and tidy.

People are supported to have maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. Relatives reported good relationships with staff members and expressed satisfaction with the care provided, describing staff as welcoming, professional and friendly. Relatives felt the service was safe.
