Housman Care is a purpose-built residential care home accommodating up to 30 older adults requiring nursing or personal care, with 26 residents at the time of inspection. The service supports older people, including those living with dementia.

Inspectors found that people were not always treated with dignity and respect, and personal care was not consistently delivered in line with assessed needs. Care was not always personalised, with examples noted where residents who reported feeling unwell did not receive timely responses to their concerns. While the service had made some improvements to its management systems, further developments were still needed.
