Home of Comfort Nursing Home

Home of Comfort Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 30 people aged 65 and over across three floors. At the time of inspection, 23 people were receiving care at the home. Staff demonstrated kindness and responsiveness, providing care tailored to individual needs. People felt listened to and knew how to raise concerns, with staff observed respecting privacy and protecting dignity throughout the service.

Staffing levels were adequate and safely recruited to meet people's needs. Staff possessed good knowledge of the people they supported and understood associated risks, with access to appropriate guidance on safeguarding. Medicines were managed safely and infection control measures were in place, with staff using protective equipment appropriately. The home used incidents as opportunities to identify and implement improvements to care and support.
