Hollin Bank House

This residential care home provides personal care to up to 14 older people and those living with dementia. Quality monitoring systems had failed to identify these shortfalls or ensure areas of the home were safe. Residents were unable to consistently express their views, as not all had received feedback forms and resident meetings were not being held regularly. The environment lacked dementia-friendly aids to help people navigate the service, and some areas presented safety concerns. Staff training covered mandatory and service-specific topics but did not encompass all required areas.
