About Hodge Hill Grange

Hodge Hill Grange is a nursing home in Birmingham, providing nursing and personal care for older people, including those living with dementia. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Hodge Hill Grange is a care home in Birmingham providing nursing and personal care for up to 52 people, including those living with dementia and older people needing general nursing care. The CQC rated the service Good overall. Inspectors found staff kind, compassionate and person-centred, with strong links to families and health professionals, and a management team described as approachable and supportive.

However, governance systems had not always identified issues such as areas needing redecoration, deep cleaning and better safety oversight, and there were gaps in care plans, risk assessments and pre-admission documentation. The registered manager took prompt action and put improvement plans in place. One relative said staff were "always lovely and friendly" and that they felt their mother was safe and well looked after.
