Highwell House Care Home with Nursing

Highwell House provides accommodation and nursing care to up to 34 people, including younger and older adults living with dementia. During inspection, 27 people were residing at the home. The service implemented robust infection control measures, including temperature checks and health screening for visitors, alongside hand sanitisation and personal protective equipment availability. Staff maintained regular communication with families through social media, video calls, and telephone contact, with family quizzes organised via social media and projector so relatives could see each other. The home produced easy-to-read information documents to help people understand how to stay safe, and introduced appropriate social distancing arrangements for staff members.
