High Meadows

High Meadows is a care home providing nursing and personal care for up to 45 older people, with 39 people living there at the time of assessment. This assessment followed unsubstantiated concerns about management, and the CQC found people were well cared for, with staff feeling supported and quality monitoring systems working effectively. External professionals gave positive feedback.

People said staff were kind and caring, their health and nutritional needs were met, and they were treated with dignity and respect. A small number of people and relatives reported occasional waits for care, and some felt there were not always enough organised activities. The registered manager agreed to look into these issues.
