HF Trust - Phillippines Close

Phillippines Close, run by HF Trust, comprises two residential care homes supporting autistic people and people with a learning disability, some of whom also live with physical disabilities. The service can accommodate up to 16 people. The CQC assessed the service after receiving concerns about people's care and treatment, but found it was performing well overall and rated it Good.

Inspectors found staff were kind, respectful and skilled at communicating with people in ways they understood. People were supported with health, food and consent, and relatives spoke positively about the care given. One shortfall noted was that the manager was not registered with the CQC, though staff described a supportive culture and continuous improvement.
