Hengist Field Care Centre

Hengist Field Care Centre provides residential care, supporting people with health and mobility needs, including help with independence and mobility equipment. The assessment was prompted by concerns about risk management, but inspectors found the service continued to provide good quality care and was well led.

Risks to people's health and wellbeing were properly assessed, with clear guidance for staff, and lessons were learned when things went wrong. Staffing levels were sufficient, medicines were managed safely, and the building was well maintained and clean. Staff understood safeguarding responsibilities, and people said they felt safe and were encouraged to take part in community and spiritual activities.
