Hazelmead Residential Care Home

Hazelmead Residential Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for people with learning disabilities and autistic people. At the time of the assessment, five people were living there. The CQC rated the service Good overall, with an outstanding rating for how caring it is, an improvement on the previous requires improvement rating.

Inspectors found people were safe, with strong risk management, medicines practice and infection control. Staff were well trained, kind and attentive, promoting independence and choice, and care was person-centred and responsive. Leadership was inclusive and governance had improved, though financial oversight still needed some attention.
