The CQC found the provider in breach of regulations on safe care and good governance, with the rating falling from good to requires improvement. Inspectors found gaps in infection control, food storage, contradictory care plans and inconsistent auditing, though the manager and provider responded positively to feedback.

Despite these shortfalls, people and relatives spoke warmly of kind, respectful staff and a homely atmosphere, and felt safe living there. People had access to plentiful activities and trusted the management team, who were seen as approachable and responsive to concerns.
