Hailey House is a residential care home in Essex providing accommodation and personal care for up to 20 older people. At the time of the assessment it was supporting 9 people. The CQC found the service had improved significantly since a previous inadequate rating, with earlier breaches now resolved, and rated it good overall.
Inspectors found people and their relatives felt safe and spoke positively about staff, with many good interactions observed. The environment and bedrooms had been improved, activities were more meaningful, and people felt involved and listened to in shaping the care they received.
