Greengates

Greengates Care Home provides nursing care for up to 15 people with enduring mental health needs. At inspection, 14 people were living at the service. Staff worked with other health and social professionals to support residents, with care plans in place that described how each person would like to be supported, including early warning signs of mental health changes. Safe systems ensured people received their medicines as prescribed, and robust recruitment processes protected residents. People were involved in interviewing staff members.

Systems were in place for risk management and environmental safety checks. The registered manager was addressing the storage of mobility scooters at the home.
