Grange Hill House Residential Home

Grange Hill Residential Home provides accommodation with personal care and support for up to 38 older people, some of whom live with dementia and associated illnesses. At inspection, 30 people were residing there.

Inspectors found that risks to people's health and welfare were not always effectively managed. Care plans and risk assessments did not consistently reflect guidance from healthcare professionals. The home's audit systems were ineffective at identifying areas needing improvement in how risks were assessed and monitored. There was insufficient oversight of systems designed to monitor people's health and wellbeing.
