Grammar School House

Grammar School House provides personal care and support for up to 12 adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions. At inspection, 10 people aged between 40 and 62 were living there. The service occupies an adapted historic school house with ongoing refurbishment, maintaining its architectural character rather than appearing institutional. Its village location places it within walking distance of local shops and facilities, supporting residents' involvement in the community.

Relatives were highly complementary about the service. One said staff "know the clients so well, know what people need…whole place has such a nice family feel," while another commented "I just feel so lucky, care is second to none." People are supported by management and staff described as highly motivated, kind and compassionate. Staff support residents to stay safe, manage medicines as prescribed, and act to prevent harm or discrimination.
