Gorseway Nursing Home

Gorseway Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 88 people across two distinct areas: The Manor, which offers residential care, and the Nursing Home, which provides nursing care alongside a specialist dementia unit. At inspection, 21 people were living in The Manor and 50 in the nursing home.

The provider's quality assurance systems did not fully identify all concerns, and some records lacked accuracy and detail. However, when issues were brought to the provider's attention, they responded promptly and effectively to address them. Staff demonstrated understanding of how to assess and manage risks to people's health, safety and well-being.
