Glenwood Care Home

Glenwood provides nursing care and accommodation for up to 12 adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs across two separate bungalows, each housing six people. Communication with relatives is excellent, with families receiving regular videos and photographs and consistent updates via phone calls. The service has implemented strong infection control measures, including health screening forms, temperature checks and provision of personal protective equipment for all visitors, along with clinical waste bins for safe disposal. Staff were observed wearing correct PPE throughout, and both people and staff participate in regular COVID-19 testing, including bank staff.
