Inspectors found relatives generally spoke positively, feeling able to raise concerns and confident action would follow, with good involvement in end-of-life care planning. However, the home did not always answer telephone calls from relatives, and routine health checks such as dental, optician or chiropody appointments were not always offered or arranged.
