Germaina House

This residential care home supports up to 18 people aged 65 and over in one adapted building. At the time of inspection, 13 people were using the service. The home provides personal care and accommodation as a single package.

People received safe care from experienced staff who understood their needs, wishes and preferences well. Staff were recruited safely with sufficient numbers on duty at all times. Medicines were safely managed and infection prevention and control risks were addressed during the inspection. People's risks were regularly reviewed, and staff supported them to lead fulfilled lives while having maximum choice and control over their care.
