Gable Lodge

Gable Lodge provides personal care to up to 9 people, with five older residents currently using the service, some living with dementia. The home does not provide nursing care.

The service maintains a homely environment where residents can personalise their rooms. Recent improvements include bathroom and accessible wet room upgrades. However, inspectors found that while fire safety procedures had been enhanced, safety concerns remained. Windows were not appropriately restricted, putting residents at risk of falling from height, and overall environmental safety needed further attention to adequately protect people from injury.
