Gable Lodge is a care home providing support to a small number of older people living with dementia. The CQC found the service is rated Good overall, with previous concerns now resolved. Risks to people's safety are managed well, staffing levels are sufficient, and recruitment and infection control practices are safe.
People and relatives described the home as open, welcoming and homely, with staff who are skilled, kind and attentive to individual preferences. Inspectors found governance had improved, though records could be better organised and the environment could be more stimulating for people living with dementia. Overall, people were safe, well cared for and supported to make choices about their lives.
