Fosse House accommodates up to 81 older people, with 60 residents living there at the time of inspection. The service implements robust infection control procedures for visitors, including provision of personal protective equipment, COVID-19 testing, and vaccination status checks where applicable. Safe admission processes are in place, with careful planning, isolation periods where required, and thorough risk assessments relating to people's and staff's health, safety and wellbeing.

The service provides staff with comprehensive support including training and guidance, with additional support available at provider level. All staff have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or declared themselves medically exempt, with the provider maintaining a process to verify vaccination requirements and obtain necessary evidence.
