Featherton House provides accommodation and personal care for up to 25 older people. At the time of inspection, 17 residents were living at the service. The management team had implemented a system to manage visitors safely, with procedures explained to all visitors on arrival including completing a declaration form and temperature checks.

A visiting pod was introduced to allow safe visits in a COVID-19 secure environment, with other visits being gradually reintroduced in line with government guidance using COVID-19 lateral flow tests for additional safety measures.
