Favordale Home for Older People

Favordale Home for Older People accommodates up to 45 people across three areas: Wycoller View and Noyna View for older people with personal care needs, and Pendle View for those living with dementia. At inspection, 35 people were resident at the home.

The home has established strong infection prevention and control procedures that staff understand and follow consistently. All staff completed training on personal protective equipment and participated in weekly testing, with appropriate PPE worn during the inspection visit. The home maintains plentiful supplies and high standards of cleanliness throughout. The registered manager has implemented creative ways for residents to stay connected with family, including using technology and facilitating visits through windows. Essential visitors are subject to strict procedures including temperature and health checks.
