Elwis House

Elwis House is a residential care home providing personal care for up to four people with a learning disability and/or autism. At the time of inspection, four people were living there. Staff supported residents to have maximum choice, control and independence over their own lives, focusing on their strengths and what they could do to ensure fulfilling and meaningful everyday life. Residents were encouraged to identify and work towards their own aspirations and goals.

The home provided a safe, clean, well-equipped and well-maintained environment that met residents' sensory and physical needs. People could personalise their rooms and had choice about their living environment. Staff communicated with residents in ways that met their individual needs and supported them to make their own decisions. Residents were actively supported to play a role in maintaining their own health and wellbeing where possible.
