Elm Bank Care Home

Elm Bank Care Home provides residential care for up to 115 people across three floors, with 84 people using the service at the time of inspection. While systems and processes were in place to monitor care quality, the home identified gaps in monitoring medicines administration, accidents and incidents, and staff recruitment processes. These monitoring systems had not always identified and addressed areas for improvement in a timely manner, though the manager took immediate action to remedy the issues. The manager was aware of required improvements and had worked with the provider to develop an action plan addressing the identified areas, with progress being made on implementation.
