Edward House is a care home supporting older people, some of whom are living with dementia. Following an earlier inspection that found breaches of regulation, the CQC checked whether improvements had been made and found the service had put things right, with risks around hydration, infection control and falls-related medicines now properly managed. The home is now rated good overall.

Inspectors found people were protected from abuse and neglect, with enough skilled staff and effective oversight from leaders who were visible and supportive. People and relatives spoke positively about the care, describing staff as kind and respectful. One relative said they never left feeling sad, and felt confident their family member was in the right place.
