Edward House

Edward House in Burgess Hill provides personal care to 12 older people, some living with dementia and other health conditions including diabetes. The home is registered to support up to 22 people across two floors, with residents having individual rooms and access to shared bathrooms, lounges and a dining room.

While oversight of risks had improved, it required further embedding in practice to ensure risks were minimised across all areas. This included monitoring people's fluid intake, strengthening infection prevention and control practices among senior staff, and improving the accuracy of records to document staff actions.
