About Eden Lodge Health Care

Eden Lodge Health Care is a nursing home in Birmingham, providing care to younger adults with learning disabilities or mental health conditions. Details from the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

Eden Lodge Health Care provides personal care for up to seven younger adults with learning disabilities or mental health conditions across two floors. At the time of inspection, five people were living at the home. Staff implemented strong infection control measures, including an alternative entrance for visitors and healthcare professionals to safely don personal protective equipment, and changing clothes at the start and finish of shifts to reduce cross-infection risk.

The top floor could be used for isolation if needed. The home's water-resistant, anti-bacterial and flame-retardant beds could be effectively cleaned and disinfected. Staff supported residents to stay safe when going out, such as during shopping trips.
