Eccleston Court Care Home

Eccleston Court Care Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 54 people across two buildings, Eccleston Court and Park Suite, including support for people with nursing needs. The CQC rated the home Requires Improvement overall. Inspectors found breaches around safe care, staffing and governance, with Park Suite particularly affected by low staff numbers, poor maintenance and gaps in dementia training.

Medicines were not always well managed.

Despite this, people and families spoke warmly of kind, respectful staff and felt confident raising concerns. Care was found to be caring and inclusive, though people were not always clearly involved in planning their own care. Leadership was more visible in Eccleston Court than Park Suite, and management is required to submit an improvement plan.
