Eastfield Residential Home

Eastfield Residential Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 25 people with mental health conditions, with 24 residents at the time of inspection. The service protects people from abuse and harm, with staff trained in safeguarding and risk assessments completed to identify potential hazards. People receive their medicines as prescribed, and residents and their relatives report feeling safe and receiving good quality care.

Care is planned around people's choices and preferred routines, with residents and relatives involved in decision-making and supported to receive information in accessible formats. The home has sufficient staffing levels to meet people's needs, and staff training and supervision have improved to ensure staff have the knowledge and skills required for their roles. Residents and their relatives are actively involved in the service.
