Durban House

Durban House provides personal and nursing care to up to 42 people, with 30 residents at the time of inspection, including those living with dementia. The care home is housed in a converted older building arranged over three floors, offering rooms with ensuite facilities and garden access. Residents have access to two communal lounges, a dining area, and a bistro where visitors can meet family members for refreshments.

Whilst some improvements were evident, insufficient action had been taken to address breaches of fundamental standards identified previously. Governance arrangements required further development to ensure all standards were consistently met.
