Kingfisher Court

Kingfisher Court is a purpose-built residential care home providing personal and nursing care to 29 people, with capacity for up to 39. The home specializes in supporting those with acquired brain injury and associated neurological conditions, offering rehabilitation facilities. People felt safe and enjoyed living at the home.

However, several areas required improvement. Infection prevention and control practices were not consistently applied, with some areas needing deep cleaning and others in poor states of repair. Staffing levels for domestic staff were insufficient to maintain the premises properly. Gaps in training records presented risks to both residents and staff, leaving them potentially vulnerable to harm.
