Deepdene House

Deepdene House provides residential care for up to 20 people with mental health needs, with 19 people currently using the service. The home creates a safe environment where people feel comfortable, with staff supporting them to take acceptable risks while maintaining their wellbeing. Pre-admission assessments ensure care needs can be met, and incidents are used as learning opportunities. There are sufficient staff employed to keep people safe.

Staff receive training and supervision to support people effectively, encouraging maximum choice and control while promoting independence. People are supported to eat healthily and have their mental and physical health needs addressed. The service operates according to policies that support least restrictive practices and ensure people are treated as equals with no discrimination.
