Clarence Road

Clarence Road provides 24-hour support and personal care for up to 15 adults with mental health needs across three floors, each accessible by lift. At inspection, all 15 available places were occupied.

Significant concerns were identified regarding infection control and health and safety. The home had a strong smell related to insufficient cleaning in areas where urine was present, putting people at risk of acquiring infections. Staff and external contractors were not consistently using personal protective equipment in kitchen areas, and PPE was being disposed of incorrectly, creating additional health and safety risks within the service.
