The CQC found the service had improved since 2022 and rated it Good overall, with staffing levels, risk management, infection control and management oversight all found to be effective.

Inspectors found people were treated as individuals and encouraged to live as they wished rather than fit a set routine. People and relatives described staff as kind and attentive, with several residents saying they had felt unsettled elsewhere but had found a good fit at Cedar Lodge.
